Rocío Consuegra Gamón has thirty four years of experience in information technology, retail, service and manufacturing industries. She has assumed managerial roles as well as consulting and training roles. Currently she works as a coach and consultant helping people, teams and organizations improve their skills, relations, processes and results. Acts as a facilitator to enable her clients to:

  • Manage change.
  • Solve problems.
  • Think strategically.
  • Identify strengths.
  • Develop skills and knowledge.
  • Optimize their performance.
  • Work as an effective team.
  • Work on life/work balance.

 

EXPERIENCE

Rocío is the founder and General Manager of People and Process Management, S.A. de C.V.  Since July 2002 she has acted as a consultant of organizational development and business process reengineering. Her main focus is change management, helping people go through a change process. An example of these changes is an ERP implementation, she has participated in 15 of this type of projects as well as mergers of two companies. She has directly worked with clients like Wal*Mart (PeopleSoft), several companies of Grupo Kuo (before DESC). L’Oréal, Hershey México (SAP), Grupo Modelo,  OSRAM (SAP), ExxonMobil (SAP), Kenworth (SAP), Lanix (SAP), Laboratorios Kener (SAP), BP Petrobras (SAP), AMDGM, Alcan Packaging (SAP), Grupo Scanda, Alia, DuPont, ProceSAR, Infonavit, Planfia and Corporación J. R. Lindley in Perú (merger with Coca Cola). Founder and active member in the Association of Change Management Professionals, acted as a leader for ACMP’s Global-Local Relationship team to define the organization’s structure and guidelines for the local chapters creation (2011-2013) and as the secretary of the Standards Development Group in 2013.

In the beginning of 2006 she started her coaching practice (personal and executive). (Clients: Grupo DESC – IT Department, TechBA Program in Silicon Valley: Executives from 27 PYMEs, Electrocontroles del Noroeste, Destilería & Restaurantes “Los Danzantes” and personal coaching clients in México, EE.UU., Canadá and Brasil).

From June 1999 to July 2002 she worked as a consultant in Kimat – a company of Grupo Scanda – focusing on information technology auditing and consulting. She participated in the implementation and operation of a nationwide help desk at Citibank; and in a project for inventory management at SHCP, among other projects. 

Before that she worked at Wal*Mart de México from 1996 to 1999 as a Strategic Planning Manager in the Real Estate department; as a Human Resources Planning Manager and as an Assistant to the Country Manager. The most important projects under her responsibility were: a five year strategic plan for the retail stores; process reengineering for the Real Estate department to implement JD Edwards; customized the international policies and procedures to be used locally; ROI analysis for potential store locations; definition of an organizational development plan; PeopleSoft implementation; and systems contingency plans for year 2000.

From 1989 to 1993 she worked at Hewlett-Packard Mexico as a Project Manager, managing products for manufacturing companies. From 1986 to 1989 she worked at:IDS Comercial, ENIAC and Lomas Altas School.
